It seems the world has passed me by
and even though I cannot see why I should care
I can't deny trying to find the reason why
I don't get this modern age, don't get these modern ways
we're all just trying to get by
while breaking other people's backs across the globe
we gave up hope, when we decided it was right
to trust the men, who'd sell their mothers to survive
and now we're struggling with a sense of inner-doubt
confusing us to disbelief, resulting into shouts and screams

I think it's time for some remission of religion

I think about the gap we have created 'tween
a simple dream and a life without resolve
and i can't sleep cause I behold
a generation of wasted youth
who don't think that their actions could be something to regret
so question everything that you face today
the world will be much better if you'd have something to say
and if you don't react to what you may or may not know
your voice will be forgotten and sink to the depths below
and based on what I've seen

it doesn't take too much
to have your own opinion on the matters

the misshapen truths and disgusting lies
that have been used before
